THE STORY

FROM THE BENCH…

Three decades on college sidelines — recruiting, developing and demanding more. A three-year starter and two-year captain at Dominican College, Oliver began coaching at Turner-Carroll High School while earning his Master's at Buffalo State — then climbed every rung of the Division-I game: Niagara, Texas A&M, Cornell, St. Bonaventure, Rhode Island, Georgia, Canisius, Charlotte, Tennessee, ETSU and South Florida.

At Tennessee, the Vols stacked 123 wins, three NCAA Tournament trips and a 2019 Sweet Sixteen — ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll along the way. At South Florida, an incredible transformation: a 25-8 record, the program's first-ever regular-season conference championship, and the first top-25 ranking in program history.

…TO THE BLACKTOP

Camp Oliver brings a Division-I practice plan to youth basketball — same drills, same details, same standards. The focus that transformed the Bulls — competitive excellence, community engagement and a strong team culture — is the same focus every camper trains under.

Today Oliver enters his second season as Head Coach of the North Tampa Christian basketball team — and every summer, he brings all of it to Camp Oliver. Oliver and his wife, Annette, have two sons, Dante and Dallas.
